We're staying at the Premier Inn next door and arrived pretty late in the evening after arriving back on the ferry, so we didn't have much option for tea. Our experience was that good if we visit Dover again we would choose to book and eat here. All of the staff were fantastic and great with our kids, and the food was excellent. The steak was cooked better than the one I had at the Disneyland steakhouse the day before. The staff were brilliant, especially after what I assume was a busy bank holiday, all very friendly. If this is typical of the place then what a great first impression of the UK for anyone visiting for the first time. Absolutely recommend.

We stayed at the premier inn next to it. Because of the location this is the only place to eat.
We came in the evening without reservations and were told that the wait is 30min without reservation (at 6pm). This was ok for us.
The food we had later was good but nothing special. All in all you didn’t feel to welcomed on that evening.
On the next day we come for breakfast and it was the same. They asked for reservations (which we would never make for breakfast). However we could order.
The continental breakfast is bad to be honest. The cooked breakfast was order only and required to wait 20min+ even the pub was literally empty.
The staff was nice but you did not feel welcomed.

Was informed this place was a lovely pub to visit and with the premium inn next to it.
Don’t bother visiting the pub because food was disgusting/ serve was without a smile just a grunt /sit over there. Lady with red shirt!!!
Food was cold , eggs were hard and the place could do with a make over !!! It wouldn’t let me take off the two stars it’s worth zero

The restaurant had almost no redeeming features, decor in extreme need of attention, an overall gloomy feel. It almost felt dirty though I'm quite sure it's been cleaned. The food was average to under whelming, there is much better food available elsewhere. If your staying at the premier inn and want a drink it's worth it beyond that probably not. One thing that made it all worth while was the staff. Each and every one of them an absolute asset to the company for that reason and that reason alone I gave 4 rather than 2 stars.

Nice pub, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Didn't have to worry about parking there either. Nice selection of beers too.

Warm welcome all staff are friendly and helpful, food was excellent steaks cooked to perfection. Good value for the kids meals. Decided to return the next morning for breakfast great welcome again only minor complaint was the eggs bit overcooked no runny yolk, but everything else was perfect. just under £33 for three adults and 3 children great prices

Service was good but slow. Arrived on a Sunday just as the carvery was finishing and was packed.
Food lovely. Great value for money. No complaints.
Facilities could be improved.
Why is everything sticky?

Was staying at the Premier Inn next door and had supper here. Enjoyed it. Good food and good prices. The staff were really welcoming and good fun. As local guide Zeon says, the decor is a little tired, but that really doesn't matter. Would stopover here again.

Raw burgers served to the children. I know that burgers can be a bit pink in the middle, but these were still frozen inside and not ideal for a 4 and 5 year old 😔 the manager was lovely and we got a refund and a free dessert, but when I initially told the man at the bar, he said more food would be sent over for the children as a replacement. We sat and waited half an hour for this, for us to find out that it was never actually processed through the tills. Won't be returning unfortunately!

To be honest with everyone in my review, when I found out the Premier inn I stayed at had a brewers Fayre I had a heart sinking feeling. I prefer beefeater, but I don't have a say when work books a hotel,
So to be to the point the service was great, the food was nice and it was relaxing and peaceful. After a hard day at work arriving at 8.40 was perfect for those wanting a quiet night to enjoy a meal.
I found value for money quite well as was less than £30 for what I wanted. Tango refil was a little flat on syrup, but when ya been working since 5.30am you don't really care about the fluids taste and texture, just glad to quench a thirst..
What I find with Brewers fayre that let's the establishment and brand down is the dated and tired looking chairs and furniture. Many chairs seem torn and damaged. Could also as a tip do with some Gravy for the pie.
Overall a good enjoyable meal. Would happily return when next staying in the hotel.
