Utilised this hotel as a convenient stopover before an early morning ferry. The reception staff was commendable, and the location near a pump station and restaurant was convenient. The room, spacious and clean, provided comfort for a night, although the bathroom ventilation was non-functional. Just 5-10 minutes away from the ferry port, making it a practical choice.

Definitely will come again just for it was lovely staying at this place. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was spotless and shiny, clean shower and toilet which pleased me the most. The staff was courteous and friendly.

Pleasant experience, clean rooms with pristine conditioning throughout. The reason for saying this is that its not that the place is new, but the way they have kept it feels like you are in a brand new hotel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when we changed our timings for breakfast without any fuss. Would definitely recommend this place.

The room was great and had everything I needed. Clean and comfy bed. |Emma, on reception, was fantastic.... So friendly, welcoming and helpful...... Answered all my questions, knowledgeably, as I do not know the area.

Arrived quite late in the dark. Well signposted to the hotel and plenty of car parking. Hotel is sited just off a busy road however I could not hear the traffic. Room was very comfortable as usual. Everything worked as it should have. No complaints at all.

There was a long queue at reception when got there in the evening after a two-and-a-half trek to the lighthouse at White Cliffs of Dover.
The lady was so pleasant and apologetic when it was our turn.
Despite the delay with the computer and payment she made us feel very welcomed and comfortable as we waited.
On getting to the room we were satisfied with the cleanness and ambience. It was better than my last visit to another branch I visited recently.
The room was hot in the night and had to turn on the fan.
The blinds were brilliant because I had a lie in and no sunlight came through. A big plus for me!!
The bed is so comfy. I slept like a baby.
The free WiFi was amazing and it was very easy to sign in.
My daughter could watch her program on her phone. Peacefulness!!!!
I am a very very happy customer!!!
Rooms: Very clean and lovely ambience.
The beds were big and very comfortable.
The sheets are soft and fresh-smelling. The white towels were so soft and lovely.
Food & drinks: Delicious and well prepared.
The waitresses were so lovely and kind. Very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed for one night prior to a day trip to France, as the hotel is very handy for the ferry port. Free parking on site, and a Brewers Fayre pub next door for convenient (not brilliant) food. The room was the usual basic but OK offering, but it had a very stale smell in it (which our clothes smelt strongly of when we got home) and the toilet seat was damaged (though OK to use). The passage to the room smelt heavily of disinfectant, and our overall impression was that the place needs a bit of attention to bring it back to how it was on earlier stays. The lady on the desk was very friendly.
